Job Summary

An information services company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Medtech Insight Pharma Intelligence Reporter in New York City.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Reporting & writing news and analysis pieces with guidance from an editor on a daily cycle
• Taking daily assignments & actively pitching stories on a regular basis
• Cultivate expertise and contacts in topic areas of focus

Position Requirements Include:

• Journalism skills and knowledge including: ability to write clearly, news writing skills and judgment.
• High level of curiosity, that is, a desire for knowledge, prepared to ask and learn, with an authentic interest in others
• Ability to participate in cross-functional teams and maintain communication with colleagues and manager
• Knowledge of medical devices and diagnostics and awareness of major issues affecting markets in general
• Ability to use language and translation skills when needed
• Good interpersonal skills with emphasis on the ability to gain the cooperation of sources
