Job Summary

A travel company has an open position for a Remote Meetings and Events Team Leader.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Create and encourages a positive and open work environment
  • Ensure direct reports are trained on Standard Operating Procedures
  • Evaluate staffing models to ensure appropriate staffing levels are in place

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Ability to travel by airplane, boat, rail and/or car
  • Minimum of five years experience in leadership of event or meeting management teams
  • Proven people leadership skill and impact of large teams
  • Knowledge of meeting sourcing and or planning as required by account portfolio
  • Strong ability to interact with client contacts at a meeting level
  • Proven aptitude for analytical skills required
