Job Summary
A digital health company has a current position open for a Remote Member Insurance Associate.
Must be able to:
- Verify insurance benefits and check eligibility of all members
- Proactively outreach members to communicate cost estimates based on their insurance coverage and benefits
- Ensure patients are familiar with the process for how out-of-network care works (when applicable)
Qualifications for this position include:
- 2+ years in the health tech or medical field in a similar position
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information in a way that is easy for patients to comprehend
- Comfort operating in amorphous, fast-paced environments and with constantly evolving priorities
- Tech-savviness: comfort adopting new technologies and platforms and efficient in tech-related tasks
