Remote Mental Health Compliance Officer

Job Summary

A behavioral and mental health company is seeking a Remote Mental Health Compliance Officer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Report progress to the executive team and the board of directors
• Perform Policy management
• Manage the compliance hotline and all incidents (from report to investigation)

Qualifications Include:

• Expertise in HIPAA Privacy & Security rules and regulations
• Foundational knowledge of healthcare compliance with an ability to influence the organization to comply
• 8+ years of experience in healthcare of which at least 3 of which must be in a compliance role
• Ability to coordinate audits/reviews from payers or regulatory entities
• Ability to overseeing the medical records department
• Ability to overseeing the grievance process for complaints and making sure we meet required timelines for resolving issues
