Job Summary
A healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Mental Health Peer Mentor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Meeting with patients (ages 6 to 24) for virtual sessions and check-ins
- Coaching patients through snacks/meals
- Helping people recover from an eating disorder
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Have the ability to build collaborative relationships with strong interpersonal skills
- Be curious, enjoy learning, and are eager to implement growth-oriented feedback
- Have strong organizational and time management skills
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills
- Have first-hand lived experience with an eating disorder
- Identify as being in a solid space of recovery from an eating disorder
