Job Summary
An information technology company is filling a position for a Remote Merchandising Analyst Research Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Identify and create body of research and analysis on topics of most importance to clientele of leading retailers
- Work collaboratively with retail team and others to develop research and insights
- Advise clients on merchandising processes and technologies supporting merchandising
Qualifications for this position include:
- Up to 25% travel within and outside home market
- 5+ years of experience in the Retail industry
- Understanding the retail context in different regions of the globe
- Analytical, lateral and critical thinking skills
- Excellent understanding of how IT can support customers in shopping process as well as back-office retailing
- Ability to work collaboratively with members of retail team and others
