A company is looking for a Part-Time Remote Meteorologist to prepare and present multimedia weather content.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present weather forecasts for various media platforms including radio, television, and social media
- Assist in mentoring and training students in the Broadcast Meteorology program
- Gather and interpret meteorological data to ensure high-quality weather content delivery
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 years of professional experience in meteorology or a related field
- Experience with weather graphics/display units and Doppler radar
- Background in atmospheric science, meteorology, geography, or communications
- Preferred accreditation with the National Weather Association or Atmospheric Meteorological Society
