Job Summary
A financial services and technology company is in need of a Remote Metrics Platform Software Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Designing, validating and implementing robust curated data pipelines
- Designing and improving in-house replication framework, and vendor solutions for data ingestion
- Designing and building a user-friendly data quality platform and a data tagging framework
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Experience working with backend programming languages (Java, Kotlin, Python)
- Familiarity with software engineering development cycles
- Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases
- Experience with job orchestration frameworks, such as Airflow
- Experience with data pipelines and data warehousing solutions, such as Big Query and Snowflake
- Experience building and maintaining curated production data pipelines with data governance processes in place
