Job Summary

To contribute to the safety and reliability of advanced language models, a part-time Remote Microbiologist will author expert-level prompts, evaluate model outputs for scientific accuracy, and engage in ongoing project opportunities with flexible hours.

Key responsibilities

• Author expert-level prompts across various biological fields including microbiology and biochemistry
• Evaluate model outputs for scientific accuracy and appropriate handling of sensitive content
• Apply structured evaluation frameworks to classify prompts and assess model responses consistently

Required qualifications

• Hold or be pursuing a PhD in Biology or a closely related life science discipline
• Experience with laboratory, computational, or technical content evaluation workflows
• Strong scientific reasoning and technical writing skills in English
• Ability to exercise sound judgment regarding biosafety and pathogen-related topics
• Demonstrated capability to create high-quality prompts and technical scenarios
