Job Summary
A banking technology company is seeking a Remote Mid Backend Engineer III.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Build backend services including the core APIs
- Deliver software components from the first commit to production
- Instrument, test, profile, and code review software
Qualifications for this position include:
- 3+ years of professional experience building consumer-facing software
- Experience building RESTful APIs
- BS in Computer Science preferred or relevant industry experience
- Familiarity with or interest in Scala, Akka, Terraform, Postgres, SNS/SQS, Kafka, Ruby on Rails
- Passion for testing, debugging, and overall code quality
