Remote Mid Level Info Security Engineer

Job Summary

A financial services and insurance agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Mid Level Info Security Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Creating, publishing, and maintaining Information Security baselines for specific technologies
• Researching and analyzing the latest capabilities of specific Information Security and IT technologies
• Writing code/scripting/automating recommended by senior team members

Required Skills:

• Proficient level of business acumen in the areas of business operations, risk management, industry practices and emerging trends
• Security Information and Event Management and/or Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response solutions
• 2 or more years of related experience in Firewall, Web Proxies, Web Application Firewall, Intrusion Prevention Systems, etc
• Bachelor's degree in related field of study, OR 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required
• 4 or more years of related experience in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Identity and Access Management and/or Information Technology
