Job Summary

A full service IT firm needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Mid Level Oracle Database Administrator.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Provide change and incident management
  • Assist in Capacity planning and Space management
  • Maintain database like rebuilding indexes

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Oracle DBA L2 (Professional) (minimum 4+ of experience)
  • Oracle 11g/12c, RAC, Dataguard, RMAN, Performance Tuning, and OEM experience
  • Knowledge on working Oracle RAC and Data Guard
  • Experience in supporting environments consisting PROD-UAT for oracle databases
  • Knowledge on Operating system relevant to oracle databases
  • Good knowledge on RMAN backup, Restoration and Recovery strategies
