Job Summary
An education company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Mid Level Psychometrician.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing and overseeing computer-adaptive tests for K–12 education
- Conducting classical and IRT analyses of test data
- Collaborating with content experts to create and curate item pools
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ph.D. in Education Measurement, Psychometrics, Quantitative Psychology, Statistics or a related field
- 3+ years of active experience in new test development or computer-adaptive testing
- Fluency in computer/statistical programming e.g. Pythin, SQL
- Willingness to innovate and find new, efficient solutions to complex problems
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
