Job Summary
An online education company has a current position open for a Remote Middle School English Language Learner Teacher.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Provide instruction, support, and guidance, manage the learning process, and focus on students’ individual needs
- Work closely with students and parents/Learning Coaches to advance each student’s learning toward established goals
- Deliver specific course content in an online environment
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Work from home but must travel occasionally throughout the year to various school functions, such as state testing or as otherwise required by the school
- Have a Bachelor's Degree
- Have Six (6) months of student teaching experience
- Meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) in subject area under No Child Left Behind (NCLB)
