An educational company is in need of a Remote Middle School Social Studies Teacher.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Submiting grades and required student work ensuring student academic honesty and integrity
- Preparing students for high stakes standardized tests
- Taking ownership for students' academic progress and attendance
Position Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel as required
- Bachelor's degree
- Pedagogical knowledge of content being taught and ability to apply critical thinking
- 6 months of student teaching experience
- Meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) in subject area under No Child Left Behind
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word; PowerPoint
