Job Summary

An online education company has a current position open for a Remote Middle School Social Studies Teacher.

Must be able to:

• Take ownership for student’s academic progress and attendance
• Prepare students for high stakes standardized tests
• Conduct live Synchronous Teaching – minimum of 15 hours per week

Qualifications Include:

• Ability to travel as required (on average once per month and/or approximately 10% of the time)
• Michigan middle school social studies certification
• Bachelor's degree and Six (6) months of student teaching experience
• Meet requirements for Highly Qualified Teacher in subject area under No Child Left Behind
• The teacher will be responsible for their own LiveScan
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word; PowerPoint
