Job Summary
An online education company has an open position for a Remote Middle School Special Education Substitute Teacher.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing instruction, support and guidance, and manage the learning process for special education students
- Completing compliance documents required in serving students with special needs
- Hosting live synchronous sessions that promote a positive learning environment
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel at least once per month within and between assigned geographic areas
- Bachelor’s Degree(s)
- Minimum 6 months of student teaching experience
- Appropriate state certification
- Meet state’s NCLB’s Highly Qualified Teacher requirements
- Teachers with one or more years of teaching experience are required to provide past performance data
