Job Summary

A healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Military and Family Life Counselor in Carlisle Barracks.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Provide non-medical, short term, solution focused, counseling directly to children and youth of service members
  • Provide assessment, brief counseling and consultation
  • Focus on supporting the staff and personnel

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Participate in health fairs and other base/installation activities
  • MA/MS/MBA in Behavioral Health and 3-5 years of experience
  • Advanced knowledge of brief therapy and solution-focused child and youth counseling methods
  • Minimum 2 years of post-masters supervised clinical experience
  • Must be licensed at the independent practice level
  • Prior military service/military family member and/or strong familiarity with military culture
