Job Summary
A social media company is seeking a Remote Mission Critical Engineering Data Center Engineering Manager.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Leading the team in the design and deployment of new data centers
- Managing strategy and execution of on-prem infrastructure
- Negotiating commercial contracts
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in Data Center design or construction operations
- 5+ years people management experience in data center operations
- Executive level negotiation and leadership skills in vendor engagement
- Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
- Technical, problem-solving, analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills
