Job Summary
A defense solutions company is in need of a Remote MMIC Design Staff Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Being responsible for all design aspects of the RF portion of SoC in CMOS
- Understanding design concepts of analog and digital circuits integrated on the same circuit
- Acting as an advocate for rigorous & systematic design processes & helping others to understand & follow engineering processes
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Experience with GHz speed analog to digital converters & digital to analog converters, high speed custom SerDes including PLLs
- CMOS circuit design tools and methodologies including advanced mixed-signal verification methodologies
- Skilled in the use of CAD tools such as KeySight ADS for microwave circuit simulation & Sonnet for 2.5D electromagnetic simulation
- Experience designing amplifiers, phase shifters, attenuators, and passive coupling components
- Experience with micro/millimeter-wave testing in the laboratory
