Job Summary
An insurance and financial services company is filling a position for a Remote Model Development Managing Actuary.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Oversee testing of model components to determine whether the model is performing as intended
- Oversee development of health and group models
- Ensure that model changes are implemented as specified
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Experience in the development of financial reports
- Thorough financial background
- Thorough actuarial background
- Attainment of the Fellowship of the Society of Actuaries designation
- Aptitude for statistical interpretation, a working knowledge of advanced actuarial assumptions and formulae
- Product and industry knowledge
