Job Summary
A full-service mutual insurance company is seeking a Remote Model Transformation Actuary.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Assessing implementation of model inputs, product features, calculations, and error handling
- Testing and validating modeling enhancements, modifications, performance, and automation
- Reviewing component testing and identify where further explanations are needed
Skills and Requirements Include:
- ASA or FSA with 5+ years of actuarial experience
- Solid experience and strong skills in using actuarial modeling software and Excel
- Ability to manage ambiguity, think critically, and dive deep to investigate findings
- Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, finance, mathematics or related field or equivalent work experience
- Ability to work effectively within a diverse team and collaborate effectively across business functions
