A mortgage company has an open position for a Remote Mortgage Appraisal Team Manager in Plano.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Assisting Director of Underwriting and Department in maintaining appraisal/appraiser independence
- Hiring, training, and developing staff to maximize potential
- Managing the department workflow to ensure all properties are valued, inspected, and appraised
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Understands residential mortgage, USPAP, AIR, and appraisal guidance along with investor and agency guidelines
- Experience with appraisal review
- 5 - 10 years banking, Real Estate or appraisal experience
- Knowledge of Real Estate documentation for residential appraisals
- Manage the appraisal department including but not limited to day to day workflows, staffing, and AMC relations
- Willingness to develop a strong knowledge of business/appraisal concepts
