Job Summary
A mortgage company is seeking a Remote Mortgage Collateral Underwriter.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Critically analyzing and evaluating appraisal reports
- Completing comprehensive collateral reviews in a timely manner to meet service level expectations
- Maintaining pipeline and communicate issues to Appraisers, Processor and Originators
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Three years mortgage underwriting experience
- Proficient knowledge of industry standard computer programs
- Through understanding of all agency and investor underwriting policies
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively under deadlines while maintaining professional standards
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong analytical skills
