Job Summary
A retail mortgage lender has an open position for a Remote Mortgage Fraud Auditor Investigator.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Evaluating mortgage loans for suspected fraudulent activity
- Identifying fraud schemes or patterns identified through monitoring
- Developing practical recommendations and communicating with business partners
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Strong knowledge of high-risk characteristics in relation to Mortgage Fraud
- 5 years of recent mortgage banking experience, primarily in underwriting and auditing
- Familiar with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae guidelines
- Able to actively keep up with changing guidelines
- Must be proficient with MS Office
- Must have strong written and verbal communications skills
