Job Summary

A mortgage lending company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Mortgage Insurance Specialist I.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Processing certificate activations and disbursing upfront premiums
• Processing monthly FHA disbursements, reconciliation and exception reports
• Processing monthly PMI disbursements accurately in accordance with the disbursement calendar

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• In depth knowledge of overall mortgage lending processes
• General working knowledge of state and federal debt collection laws, the Federal Bankruptcy Law and other legal situations
• Ability to demonstrate patience and professionalism when interacting with consumers
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Basic math and accounting skills
