Job Summary

A full service mortgage company is seeking a Remote Mortgage Loan Originator Assistant.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Delivering exceptional customer service during communication
  • Providing administrative support through the preparation of loan application
  • Communicating daily updates/progress on the loan process to the Mortgage Loan Originator

Required Skills:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two+ years prior experience in banking, lending, or sales in mortgage processing or origination
  • Knowledge of federal lending regulations, including: FHA, FNMA, FHLMC, and VA guidelines
  • Knowledge of mortgage products procedures, documentation, and underwriting guidelines (FHA, VA, USDA, CONV)
  • Experience with automated underwriting systems (DU/LP/GUS)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain state Mortgage Loan Originator License
