Job Summary

An IT staffing and solutions company has an open position for a Remote Mortgage Loan Underwriter .

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Utilizing Client's Desktop Underwriter to determine loan eligibility
  • Ensuring all file documentation requirements are met for Client, HUD and VA eligible loans
  • Assimilating new government regulations and applies this knowledge to improve and maintain underwriting

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration or related area or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Requires 7 years minimum mortgage underwriting experience
  • 7 years Residential Loan Underwriting experience
  • Outstanding knowledge of loan underwriting documentation requirements
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
