Job Summary

A staffing agency is in need of a Remote Mortgage Loan Underwriter in Denver.

Must be able to:

  • Approve/decline FHA, VA loan applications
  • Review documentation for accuracy and update system of record accordingly
  • Ensure files meet underwriting program requirements

Position Requirements Include:

  • 5 years of experience with FHA and VA mortgage files
  • Current certified direct endorsement for underwriting FHA mortgage applications
  • Working knowledge of Encompass, Loan Prospector, Desktop Underwriter
  • Expertise in review of appraisals, tax returns, financial assets, and consumer credit
  • Proficiency with new construction properties, manufactured homes and build on your own mortgage files
  • Well-rounded teamwork abilities within the corporate structure as well as external clientele
