Job Summary

A recruitment and consulting firm needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Mortgage Loan Underwriter IV.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Assist branch employees with lending decisions and proper documentation
• Review all data presented on applications to determine purpose, current financial status, compliance with consumer law and debt ratio
• Determine if loan requests should be approved or denied

Qualifications Include:

• Minimum of 5+ years of residential loan underwriting experience required
• Prior mortgage processing experiencer preferred. Credit signing authority experience preferred
• Solid knowledge and understanding of FHA\VA\USDA, FNMA and FHLMC policies and guidelines
• DE certification and recent FHA underwriting experience preferred
