Remote Mortgage Processor

Job Summary

Supporting the mortgage team in managing loans from intake to submission, the full-time Remote Mortgage Processor will handle borrower communication, documentation review, and file preparation while working remotely on East Coast hours.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact between borrowers, loan officers, and other parties throughout the loan process
• Collect and review borrower documentation for completeness and accuracy, preparing loan files for submission
• Monitor pipeline status and communicate with various stakeholders to ensure timely progress of loan files

Required qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of mortgage experience
• Prior mortgage processing experience required
• Strong knowledge of Encompass and various loan products including FHA, VA, USDA, and non-QM
• Ability to manage multiple active files with accuracy and urgency
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
