Job Summary
A finance company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Mortgage Processor.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Confirming that all rates and fees input into the system are accurate
- Conducting assessments of loans
- Collecting all underwriting conditions required from the borrower
Qualifications for this position include:
- Attends and participates in regular and ad hoc departmental meetings
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a loan processor
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Extensive knowledge of mortgage banking
- Current knowledge of industry guidelines and procedures as well as federal, state and local regulations
- Prior experience working with automated Loan Origination Systems and in the mortgage industry
