Job Summary

A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Mortgage Underwriter.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Preparing reports for review
  • Performing timely reviews of stipulations/conditions submitted
  • Analyzing loan packages to deliver valid credit decisions

Position Requirements Include:

  • Must have active Computerized Homes Underwriting Management (CHUMS) Identification
  • Must have experience with 203k loans
  • Knowledge of Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Freddie Mac loans (LP)
  • Knowledge of credit underwriting and property evaluation
  • Strong credit, risk analysis, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work with loan originators and production staff to acquire all required documentation
