Job Summary

A financial company is seeking a Remote Mortgage Underwriter.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Evaluating and assessing risk on loan applications for multiple portfolios
  • Ensuring that customers and strategic partners are receiving quality customer service
  • Reviewing necessary documents

Position Requirements Include:

  • 3+ years’ experience underwriting
  • 4+ years’ current conventional and government underwriting experience in a retail environment
  • Current knowledge of RESPA and MDIA regulations
  • Strong knowledge in “A” Paper, FNMA/FHLM; FHA/VA programs beneficial
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, Desktop Underwriter, Loan Prospector, and Calyx Point
  • 4 years of AUS experience
