Job Summary

A mortgage lending company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Mortgage Underwriter.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Ensuring file meets loan program requirements
  • Responding within SLA to all loan specific audits/findings
  • Reviewing all loan applications

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Minimum 3 years of residential mortgage underwriting experience
  • Knowledge of FHA, FNMA and FHLMC policies and guidelines
  • Experience working with Fannie Mae Desktop Underwriter
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of mortgage loan processing
  • Knowledge of mortgage insurance guidelines
