Job Summary

A mortgage lending company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Mortgage Underwriter.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Identifying and calculating loan risk of loss
  • Reviewing and analyzing loan files
  • Conditioning files for missing/supporting documentation

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 3+ years of residential mortgage underwriting experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with Fannie Mae Desktop Underwriter/Freddie Mac Loan Prospector
  • Knowledge of FHA, FNMA and FHLMC policies and guidelines
  • Knowledge of mortgage loan processing, compliance, etc
