Job Summary

A full-service mortgage brokerage service is seeking a Remote Mortgage Underwriter.

Must be able to:

  • Analyze and evaluate all aspects of borrower’s credit, related risks and offsets
  • Underwrite mortgage loans and process customer information
  • Interact with staff regarding credit decisions on mortgage loans

Position Requirements Include:

  • Minimum High school diploma or GED
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a mortgage underwriter for all loan types
  • Very high degree of attention to detail for prolonged periods of time
  • Meet all minimum daily production goals while following HFC policies, processes, and procedures
