Job Summary
A financial services company has an open position for a Remote Mortgage Underwriter.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing loan applications and supporting documentation
- Resubmitting loan files as needed through automated system
- Participating in underwriting meetings and on project teams as needed
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years prior mortgage underwriting experience
- Experience in underwriting conventional conforming, VA, and FHA
- Ability to maintain acceptable quality control finding percentage
- Ability to provide feedback on quality of loan submissions
- Ability to review and clear conditions as needed to complete loan file
