Remote Mortgage Underwriter

Job Summary

A lending company has a current position open for a Remote Mortgage Underwriter.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Underwriting purchases, refinances, and preapproval requests
• Conducting timely review and clearing conditions/stipulations on file
• Providing timely and thorough responses to individual prefunding and investor audits

Required Skills:

• A minimum of 4 years of recent frontline wholesale experience required
• Must be familiar with Desktop Underwriter and Loan Prospector
• Underwing of mortgage auditing and quality control process
• Strong credit, risk analysis, and analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task and must be detail oriented
• Team player with excellent customer service skills
