Job Summary

A loan and mortgage company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Mortgage Underwriter.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Underwriting the entire credit package and collateral for residential mortgage loans
• Assisting with the training of new underwriters
• Maintaining underwriting activity logs and provides monthly underwriting report to underwriting manager

Qualifications Include:

• Minimum three years of mortgage underwriting experience, with solid working knowledge of underwriting guidelines
• Technologically proficient
• Experience with private investor and private mortgage insurance guidelines
• Strong interpersonal-communication and business-relationship skills
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent professional experience
• Excellent analytical, written communication and verbal communication skills
