Job Summary

A full-service mortgage lender is filling a position for a Remote Mortgage Underwriter.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Reviewing/analyzing loan files submitted for borrowers
  • Identifying/calculating loan risk of loss
  • Revisiting loans to review and clear conditions

Position Requirements Include:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 3 years of residential mortgage underwriting experience
  • Knowledge of FHA, FNMA and FHLMC policies and guidelines
  • Knowledge of mortgage loan processing, compliance, investor products and underwriting guidelines
  • Knowledge of mortgage insurance (MI) guidelines
  • Working knowledge of various fraud tools
