Job Summary
A staffing agency is in need of a Remote Mortgage Underwriter and Processing Manager in San Diego.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Managing a team of individual underwriters
- Conducting interviews and verifying eligibility for providing loan services
- Assisting branch employees with lending decisions and proper documentation
Qualifications for this position include:
- High School diploma with some additional coursework, certifications, and/or lending training
- Registered with the NMLS under the provisions set forth by the S.A.F.E. Act
- 3-5 years credit union or financial industry experience within the lending function
- Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy
- Knowledge of lending laws and regulations
- Knowledge of Credit Union products and services
