Remote Mortgage Underwriter II and III

Job Summary

financial services company is in need of a Remote Mortgage Underwriter II and III.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Performing mortgage credit analysis to determine borrower’s ability to pay
• Reviewing fraud reports and title document system as required, complete checklists and summaries
• Responding to underwriting questions from internal and external customers with clarity and direction

Qualifications Include:

• Associates degree from a two-year accredited college (or equivalent)
• 4+ years related mortgage industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Prior experience underwriting jumbo loans
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Experience with LOS systems, as well as DU/LP
• Deep analytical and Problem Solving skills and is proficient using Google Docs
