Key Responsibilities

• Manage a pipeline of complex loan files, reviewing documentation for borrower eligibility and fraud risk mitigation
• Independently complete underwriting decisions in line with company standards and regulatory requirements
• Provide guidance and support to other underwriters, ensuring compliance and excellence in the underwriting function

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of mortgage underwriting experience, particularly with Non-QM loans
• Advanced manual underwriting skills and independent decision-making ability
• Proven ability to manage time-sensitive, high-complexity loan files
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of all required training by designated deadlines
