Job Summary
A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Mortgage Underwriter in Atlanta.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Underwriting and applying needed conditions to mortgage applications
- Assuring borrower meets program/product specifications
- Communicating the decision to the appropriate individuals
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 4 years of underwriting experience
- Knowledge of federal and state regulatory requirements
- Thorough knowledge of complex personal and/or business financials
- Excellent analytical, attention to detail and decision making skills
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Highly motivated and takes initiative
