Job Summary

A staffing company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Mortgage Underwriter in Charlotte.

Must be able to:

  • Review files with conforming and non-conforming loan amount
  • Review collateral related documentation
  • Compare the loan profile to prescribed guidelines

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of three years of successful mortgage loan underwriting experience required
  • Direct Endorsement (DE) and VA SAR designations (Required)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of loan origination system(s)
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively through writing, speaking and listening
  • Ability to work effectively and accurately with internal and external customers to speed the loan review
