A staffing agency has an open position for a Remote Mortgage Underwriter in Chicago.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Authorizing and underwriting loans (minimum two per day)
• Reviewing and verifying loan applications and supporting documentation
• Analyzing loan risk and requesting additional information

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Degree in business, finance or related field preferred
• Experience in loan underwriting
• Highly organized and able to prioritize
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Detail-oriented with strong data analysis skills
• Familiar with Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac guidelines
