Job Summary

A consumer lending firm is filling a position for a Remote Mortgage Underwriter.

Must be able to:

  • Review all mortgage applications and supporting documents
  • Assess risk and credit worthiness of applications
  • Interpret underwriting guideline and apply the guidance accurately

Qualifications Include:

  • 3+ years’ mortgage underwriting experience
  • 1+ years’ experience using Encompass LOS
  • Prior experience with DU and LP
  • Previous experience using Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac Selling Guides and investor overlays
  • Sound experience and knowledge of income calculations, including self-employed income
  • Prior experience with pipeline/ production goals and achievements
