Job Summary

A staffing agency has a current position open for a Remote Mortgage Underwriter in Cleveland.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Completing underwriting review of loan files
  • Directing the underwriting risk section and underwriting process
  • Evaluating mortgage credit risk

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • Have strong customer relations skills
  • Familiar with conventional front-end underwriting knowledge and mortgage laws
  • In-tune with unique underwriting criteria for Non-QM and Jumbo and alternative loan products
  • Experienced in underwriting processes and requirements
  • Highly analytical with a critical eye on data and documentation completeness
