Job Summary
A staffing and recruitment agency has a current position open for a Remote Mortgage Underwriter in Cleveland.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Complete a thorough analysis of loan files to determine compliance with company, investor, and government guidelines and standards
- Evaluate the entire credit package and collateral for residential mortgage loans and ultimately ensure an “investor’ quality loan product
- Enter loan data completely and correctly into the loan operating system ensuring all required disclosures and documentation generated are accurate and complete
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 3 years or more experience underwriting Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans
- Able to follow instructions, policies, procedures, and confidential protocol
- General banking knowledge
- Attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills
